Who Hath Believed

A Song of Isaiah 53

Who Hath Believed

Who hath believed after hearing the message?
To whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
He shall grow up as a plant new and tender,
And as a root out of a barren field.

He was despised and by all men rejected.
A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.
Smitten, stricken, by God forsaken.
He suffered alone with no relief.

Chorus:

He was wounded for our transgressions.
He was bruised for our iniquities.
The chastisement of our peace was upon Him
A and with His stripes we are healed.

Like as a lamb, He was brought to the slaughter.
Speechless as a sheep to the shearers was led.
He was cut off from the land of the living.
For our transgressions on Calvary bled.
